Fresh basil can be found in abundance at farmers' markets in the summer. A full flavor Pesto for sure. I added a smidge of coarse salt, and froze it in ice cube trays. After frozen I popped it out (with the help of a fork), and keep the cubes in the freezer.

- Use a blender. Combine all ingredients in blender.
- Blend on low until desired consistency/texture/color.
- Add more of any chosen ingredient above to enhance flavor.
- Pour into dish to be served on slices of buttered bread. Mine covered 4 slices.
